陕西柴油机重工有限公司（SXD）是国内舰船系统规模最大的中、高速大功率，高发性能柴油机及柴油发电机组制造商。公司目前主要生产缸径160～400毫米，转速390～1500转／分，功率500-8800千瓦船、陆用发电机组。公司相继引进了PA6、PC2－5、PC2－6系列，DS、DL系列、MTU956／1163、MAN16/24、21/31、32/40系列柴油机。引进生产的这些著名品牌柴油机以其安全可靠、维护简单、操作方便、经济性好、寿命长等特点，广泛应用于舰船动力、船舶电站、陆用电站、内燃机车、大型泵站及核电站应急电源等。
河南柴油机重工有限责任公司是中国船舶行业唯一的舰船用高速大功率柴油机专业制造厂。
河柴重工拥有世界领先水平的中、高速大功率内燃机（柴油机、气体机）制造技术，与1985年、1999年先后引进道依茨-曼海姆（DEUTZ-MWM）公司柴油机许可证技术，生产了TBD234系列柴油机、TBD604BL6柴油机、TBD620系列柴油机。经过研制创新，开发了CHD314、CHD316、CHD620L6、CHD622系列柴油机，CHS系列双燃料发动机和CHG系列气体机等清洁能源动力产品。2007年又引进MAN公司L16/24、L21/31系列柴油机生产专利。
